ABOUT THE PROJECT
The aim of the project was to put four artists in one studio space for three weeks to see what would happen.
There were no stipulations; each artist was free to pursue whatever they wished.
For PunchIN 2015 the Morningside Gallery at the Barbados Community College became the artist's studio.
The four artists were two graduates of the BFA in Studio Art and two teachers from the program.
Simone Asia, Versia Harris, Russell Watson and Ewan Atkinson.
Students and members of the public were welcome to visit the studio to see how the work was developing.
On the final night a reception was held, The Big Reveal. The artists discussed the experience and presented work. No titles, no fanfare, all materials and experiments visible.
Subsequently, all four artists went on to produce exhibitions that in most cases included work that had developed during PunchIN
